Jammu, Mar 25: J&K Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 201st Saturday Series Musical Play "Maa Vaishno" under the agies Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India in collaboration Durga Pooja Samiti parts of its regular feature at Katra.
The function was inaugurated after lighting the Traditional Lamp by the Chief Guest V K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, K K Joshi, Vice Chairman BLSKS, Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department, J&K Government, J K Raina, Freelancer Producer Director and Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, J&K Government, Vinod Dogra chief service engineer were the Guests of Honor. The programme commenced with welcome song "Jai Jai Sheranwali", "Mayia he mahiya meri Mahiya", "Tum Durga Tum Laxmi Tum Hi Maa Sheranwali". Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Lauded the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan-(NGO) for underlining the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state in generating awareness among the masses about various social evils through Musical Play / Theatre / Drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. "Maa Vaishno" Musical Play Written, Produced and Directed by M L Dogra (Chairman BLSKS) and highlighted the importance of the play. |
