Jammu, Apr 16: On the call of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association, the clerical cadre of J&K state Government today observed complete black day against the statement issued by Finance Minister. The clerical cadre said that on TV channel the Finance Minister said to deferment of accepted and agreed demands beyond implementation 7th pay commission. In all the districts headquater of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Province the clerical cadre from different department gathered and hold protest/ demonstration in protest for Removal of pay disparities of clerical cadre. At Jammu city while addressing the demonstrations at different offices complexes Babu Hussain Malik, Ravi Singh Bhau, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Anil Mehta, Bharat Bushan, Munish Sharma, Mohd Latif, Yash Paul Sharma, Rohit Gorge, Ravi Kumar, S. Sukhbir Singh, Umar Jan, Jagdish Thakur, Kripal Singh, Brijesh Mehta, Gurmeet Singh, Parkash Singh, Sourab Bali, Harvinder Singh, Ashish Bhandari, Avtar Krishan, S. Rajinder Singh, Anil Kesar and Sudesh Kumari condemned the callous attitude of the State Govt. towards the Cadre with regard to just and genuine demand which stands already agreed by the State Governments vide various agreements carried out between Association. The State Government is Hood winking the clerical cadre by giving false assurances and compelling the Clerical Cadre to come on the road once again. They appealed the State Govt. to implement the principally agreed demands for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre (of 5th Pay commission) by granting the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant, Rs. 4500-7000 to Senior Assistant, and Rs. 5500-9000 to Head Assistant Notionally w.e.f 01-01-1996 and monetary w.e.f 19-02-2003 as has been granted in favour of other cadre. Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association decided to one day Pen down strike on 17-04-2018.
