KPC holds meet, discusses issues of KPs | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 30: An extra ordinary meeting of Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) was held at New Delhi today under the chairmanship of its President Kundan Kashmiri. The meeting discussed the political situation of J&K and other developments related to the community and expressed great annoyance and resentment for not allotting any cabinet berth to Kashmiri Pandit community. The KPC also took a dig at the government and other political parties for burying KPs shrine bill. The President KPC said that KPs are being ignored and isolated by the state and central governments as well as by the BJP and other political parties. He said that demands like berth in state cabinet, nomination for Rajya Sabha as well as passage of shrine bill are deliberately being avoided by BJP and other political parties. He disclosed that KPC would very soon take up these and other burning issues of the community with Home Minister of India as well as with BJP President Amit Shah. Kashmiri appealed the community members, organizational leaders and activists to take pledge for standing together and to launch an effective struggle to invite the attention of state and central governments, politicians and leaders running the polity of the nation to get their rights. |
