Reshuffle aftermath: Simmering discontent in PDP, BJP
4/30/2018 11:56:27 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 30: All is not well in BJP after today's reshuffle because some of the party legislators are not happy with decision of the high command to ignore them. Not only in BJP but situation is almost same in PDP where efficient legislators were ignored.
Credible sources said that Sukhnandan Kumar Choudhary, one of the veteran and mass base leader of the BJP was not inducted in the council of ministers but his juniors were given chance. Not happy with the decision of the leadership, he remained absent from today's development. Nor he attended meeting which was held at party headquarters at Trikuta Nagar neither he was present during swearing in ceremony. Choudhary who has strong following in outskirts of Jammu district has vent out their anger before party general secretary Ram Madhav and incharge J&K Avinash Rai Khanna.
Another party MLA Dina Nath Bhagat from Chenani was openly criticizing state government after swearing in ceremony.
As far as PDP is concerned, while some ministers are annoyed with the portfolio allocated to them some deserving MLAs were ignored in the reshuffle. Ignoring Gulmarg MLA Abbas Wani, who is known as 'Giant Killer' because he had defeated all power Ghulam Hassan Mir and Baramulla MLA Javid Beigh, who is known for straight forwardness, has raised many eye-brows.
Credible sources said that both the party have to face some problems in the days to come.
