Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30: BJP was caught on the wrong foot on Monday when the party which sought resignations from two of its ministers for demanding CBI probe into infamous Rassana incident, inducted MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia, who had also raised same demand, into the council of ministers.
"Why Chander Prakash Ganga and Lal Singh were made scapegoat by the Party, for demanding CBI probe into the infamous case, duo demanded CBI probe within the frame work of constitution of India, they were not demanding Azadi or shouting Pakistan Zindabaad, as NC MLA did in Assembly, during recently conclude budget session of state assembly", said a close aide of the former ministers.
"I'm not against, Jasrotia, but the question is , why party defamed both, who never bypassed Party line?", he said and added that there were some differences between MLA Kathua and former Minister, Lal Singh, but the party took a wrong decision by allotting Forest Ministry to Jasroita, earlier it was being held by Lal Singh.
"A single department cannot be answerable for failure of Government. Entire group BJP Ministers was in favour of CBI probe into the case, but high command, instead of transferring the case to CBI slaughtered its own soldiers and party has to pay for it in Lok Sabha as well as in Assembly elections", said a former minister.
