Mankotia sits on one day hunger strike, demands CBI enquiry

Kathua, May 3: Supporting the demand of CBI inquiry in Rassana case by locals, NPP State President Balwant Singh Mankotia alongwith party sat on 24 hour hunger strike at Kootah on Thursday. NPP has also demanded a CBI inquiry in the Rassana case for fair probe. It is pertinent to mention here that local people of Kootah of Hirangar are continuously protesting for the demand of CBI inquiry in Rassana case and their hunger strike on 34th day which was supported by NPP leaders and workers. While addressing the protestors sitting on hunger strike at Kootah of Hiranagar constituency, former MLA and NPP state president Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated that party would support the local people till then the matter could not be handed over to CBI for fair inquiry. The way Crime Branch has conducted the investigation, justice to Victim would not be possible. Mankotia claimed that 11 party workers has sat on the 24 hour hunger strike in support of CBI enquiry demanded by the local people and NPP. There are many controversies have been involved in this much publicized matter and need CBI inquiry in the whole matter for fair probe. On this occasion Dhani Ram Attri, Robin Sharma, Ramsaran Dogra, Sathis Sharma, Kuldeep Master, Jagdish Kumar.
