Anita Thakur urges CM to allow CBI, re-investigation into Rasana case | | | Jammu, May 3: Anita Thakur, general secretary-JKNPP and Incharge, Women Wing of the Panthers Party urged Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to advice her lawyers in the Supreme Court to allow the CBI or any Central Agency to go for re-investigation into Rassana rape and murder case which is the voice of the people and the families of those who have been detained. Anita Thakur also sent an appeal to the Supreme Court as a citizen of India that the Supreme Court when it hears the matter on May 7, 2018. It should direct the CBI to hold inquiry into the entire tragedy in the interest of justice and in response to the demand of the people of Kathua District in particular. Anita Thakur also hoped that Legal Aid Committee & lawyers fraternity from Jammu province shall also appeal the Supreme Court conveying the appeal to the Supreme Court to give justice to the people and also to the deceased minor who was murdered in most shocking incident. She said that many questions which need to be answered by investigation and that was done by the planted team of the J&K Police for reasons known to them. Truth must come out and justice should be given to the departed soul and all her relatives. |
