| ReT Teachers Forum hopes favorable response from new Edu Minister | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 3: Rehbre-e-Taleem (ReT) Teacher's Forum Rajouri expressed hopes the Education Department will see drastic changes under the under leadership Ch Zulfikar Ali Choudhry. Aftab Tantray, Rajouri district president J&K ReT Forum said that Ch Zulfikar Ali has many achievements to his credit while heading the department of FCS&CA. "Now the people of the State are apprehending radical changes in the Education department under his administrative control and it is hoped that the department will march towards academic excellence" said Tantrey. For the last many years ReT teachers in the entire state have been struggling for their rights and ReT Forum is hopeful that sixty five thousand ReT teachers can expect speedy actions from the Minister. The ReT teachers have been demanding streamlining the salary of 42 thousands teachers under Sarav Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) and delinking it from MHRD and its absorption in the State budget, regularization of 114 surplus ReT Teachers from 4 districts of Jammu Province, implementation of transfer policy in favour of Regularized ReT (RReT) teachers as per Court directions. |
