Mendhar, May 3: Press Council of Mendhar Poonch here today celebrated the "World Press Freedom Day at Mendhar.
Speaking on the occasion, M S Nazki, President Press Council of Mendhar Poonch advised to the journalists to work towards preserving the freedom of speech. Emphasizing on the need to protect the freedom of journalists while discharging their duties he said, "Despite working under pressure in places like Border Area reporters have maintained higher standards of professionalism here."
