| Anganwari workers stage protest at DC Office | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, May 3: Anganwari workers and helpers organized a massive protest demonstration against the state government in support their demands at DC Office Complex Nandani Hills Samba here today. According to the report, a large number of Anganwari workers and helpers assembled in DC office Complex Nandani Hills Samba, they raised slogan and shouting against the state government. They said that the Anganwari workers and helpers continue their protest for their protest to support in their demands but the government has not considered their demands. They warned to intensify the agitation in case the demands has not been considered yet. They also demanded to enhancement of honorarium of Anganwari workers and helpers at par with the States of Haryana, Punjab and Delhi where per month honorarium given to a worker is Rs 10,000. Narseem Malik a Anganwai worker said that Finance Minister Altaf Bukhari has assured them that their demands will be taken up appropriately but till date nothing has been done to resolve the same. |
