Kathua, May 9: Three persons were killed and four others were injured, after being hit by a truck at Chadwal Morh on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway, on Wednesday morning. As per police reports, seven labourers were waiting for a vehicle at Chadwal NHW when an unknown truck came from Kathua side hit them all. The collision was so powerful that two labourer were killed on spot. They have been identified as Mahabir and Manoj both residents of Chhattisgarh and presently staying at Chadwal while injured identified as Rat Ram died on way to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. Identities of four others who sustained serious injuries have been established as Panna Lal, Ghanshi Ram, Ram Kirpal, Ram Sahai and all residents of Chhattisgarh presently staying at Chadwal. The injured were shifted to SDH Hiranagar and after preliminary treatment there they were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for advance treatment. Police started manhunt to nab the absconding truck and it's driver. |
