Jammu, May 9: State Secretary ABVP JK Deepak Gupta, said that the recent act that was done in Presentation Convent School, Jammu during NEET examination has hurt the sentiments of different religious groups across the state. He further said the authorities of PCS has played with the career of students by not allowing them to sit in the exam, giving an excuse of wearing bhurkha, earrings, gatra, kada, etc. He further said that there is no official notification in this regard by the NEET, for not allowing to follow one's religious instructions while appearing in the entrance exam, whereas such statements like "leave your religions behind to appear in the examination" as told by the students is highly unacceptable. It is very clear that PCS authorities have tried to create communal disharmony in Jammu and Kashmir which will not be tolerated by the organisation. ABVP supported DGPC Jammu and All J&K Sikh Unity Forum in their protest for this issue and is ready to knock every door for seeking justice for the students who were not allowed to appear in NEET examination centre, Jammu by the Presentation Convent School authorities this year which has affected one precious academic year of the aggrieved students. |
