UDHAMPUR, May 9: Residents of village Battal protested a against Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department at (Battal Balian) and demanded Hand Pump for the village.
Protester said that Public Health Engineering (PHE) department has failed to provide regular supply of drinking water for the past three months. The supply which given is totally contaminated due to which people have developed several healthy problems, children are the main sufferers. They alleged that a memorandum has been given to Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ravinder Kumar, despite his assurance nothing has been done till date and people are forced to drink polluted water. |
