| Pedestrian arrested with country made pistol | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 9: A criminal has been arrested at Shashtri Nagar area with country made pistol and its round by the Gandhi Nagar police team.
The police team from police station Gandhi Nagar had established a naka for checking of vehicles when they nabbed a pedestrian on his suspicious activity.
"The pedestrian tried to escape from the checking on spotting that police have established a naka at Shamshan Ghat Chowk in Shastri Nagar.
When he was apprehended for checking, according to the police sources, they recovered a 315 country made pistol (katta) and one live round.
The man namely Tajinder Singh alias Happy son of Mohinder Singh of Ward Number 4 in Simbal Camp was arrested immediately and booked under 110 of 2018 of 3/25 of Arms Act at police station Gandhi Nagar. |
