| ReT Forum gears up for protests from June 4 | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, June 3: A monthly meeting of J & K ReT Teachers' Forum today held at Udhampur under the leadership of State President Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by the executive members of forum from all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma blamed the education department for its failure to delink SSA Salary and increasing miseries of SSA Teachers. He said that education minister on May 12 framed a committee to find a permanent solution of SSA Salary within 15 days but even after more than 20 days nothing has been done to resolve the issue and thereby forcing the ReTs to come on roads.
He said that on June 4 a sit-in dharna will be organized at all the zonal headquarters and on June 5 , dharna will be organized at District headquarters in front of CEO offices in Jammu province where as continue protest cum dharna will be organized at Partap Park Srinagar from June 4 to June 7.
He further demanded the immediate release of SSA salary for the month of February which has been kept pending without any reason and repeated that ReT Forum will not accept salary of April 2018 if same is released without implementing 7th pay commission and the Forum will increase stir and for this step the department will be personally responsible. |
