Was Rasana case planned 14 years back? | Crime Branch takes cue of 14 years old application to establish its theory | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 3: In the infamous Rasana murder and alleged rape case, Crime Branch claimed to be have detected one application filed by juvenile accused to estabalish that that the juveline is not minor but an adult. Like previous incident Crime Branch has selective leaked a story to establish that juveline accused is not minor. It is ridiculous that Crime Branch is trying to establish that father of juveline had tried to hatch conspiracy of this murder 15 years back because Crime Branch is trying to find loopholes in the application which was filed by father of the juveline in the year 2003. According to 'selectively leaked information of the Crime Branch, an application filed by a father 14 years ago to register the birth of his three children is the centre piece of the Jammu and Kashmir Police's plea that the juvenile accused in the rape and murder of an eight-year-old in Kathua be tried as an adult and not a minor. The Crime Branch of the state police, which has contested the trial court's decision to treat the 'juvenile' as a minor has annexed the application in its petition before the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, officials said. The application is riddled with careless mistakes and raised doubts about its veracity, they said. The report of a medical board of experts, which determines the age of the juvenile, one of the eight accused in the case, as not less than 19 and not more than 23, has also been attached. The court will hear the matter onJune 6. What is more interesting that school certificates established that one of the accused is juvenile but Crime Branch is taking cue of 2004 application to establish its allegation. |
