Shiv Sena criticizes Central Govt over border situation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 3: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray J&K unit on the instructions of State President Dimpy Kohli today burned effigy at Miran Sahib led by Sanjeev Sharma. He asked the central government what kind of ceasefire it is that on borders Pakistan is targeting the civilians whereas, in the hinterland, our security forces are being attacked by the stone-pelters and the anti-national elements in the Kashmir valley. They said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi headed government at the Centre seems to have surrendered before the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti as, despite the fact that the situation in Kashmir is volatile, the 'Ramzan ceasefire' was announced by the Union Home Ministry. "Situation in the Kashmir valley is not conducive and simultaneously along the borders either it is International Border or the Line of Control," he rued. He said that 'Ramzan ceasefire' announcement has not only demoralized our security forces but created a sense of insecurity among them while dealing the law and order problem in the Valley. "At the same time, if Pakistan, who celebrates the holy month Ramzan-is not in favour of ceasefire then why we are beating the drum of 'Ramzan ceasefire' only to appease a section of politicians for political mileage at the cost of our security personnel," he slammed. |
