Jammu, June 3: Khalsa Hockey Club defeated Young Khalsa by 3-2 in a friendly hockey match organised by Khalsa Club at Baba Jullah Ground Gole Gujral, Jammu here.
Newly elected President Hockey India, S. Rajinder Singh (Kuku) was the Chief Guest on the occasion, who was later felicitated by the members of Khalsa Hockey Club. President Khalsa Club while expressing gratitude towards the chief guest for his presence during match said that the Khalsa Club feels immense proud to have such dynamic personality around who is ready to run an extra mile to promote hockey and bring back the lost heritage of the game.
S. Rajinder Singh (Kuku) later interacted with the players of the both the team and assured all possible help to promote hockey in the rural areas.
