Early Times Report Jammu, June 18: The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) has refused to accept applications from the students who have qualified their 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for medical examination. One of the aspirants said the authorities of BOPEE have refused to accept downloaded marks sheet for 12th class for medical examination 2018. "We submitted, downloaded marks sheets, that too attested by Principal of my school, but the authorities have refused to accept the application", he said and added that since tomorrow is the last date for submission of applications, it not possible for any candidate who have done his/her 12th from CBSE. "We even contacted, regional centre, CBSE Panchkula, Haryana, but the marks sheets have not been issued yet. Exploring DigiLocker, all the candidate tried digital certificate but the adamant authorities are not understanding, our problem", he said, and added that if their applications are not entertained, they would certainly lost the opportunity to get appeared in the examination without any fault. "Since, the entire world has accepted the digitalization, why the BOPEE is rejecting the same", questioned the angry candidate. He said there are hundreds of candidates in state who have cleared their 10+2 examination and are preparing for various exams, but in absence of original certificates, they are being forced to suffer mentally without any fault. They candidates also requested upon the Chief Minister, to rescue them so that they could appear in the examination. "Madam CM should intervene to provide us the much awaited opportunity to appear d in the medical as well as other examinations", they added. Chairman BOPEE, Mohammad Ashraf Bukhari could not be contacted for his comment. |
