| Training for Contract Employees at Sewa II PS | | | Early Times Report
jammu, June 19: Taking the concept of employee's welfare a step further, NHPC's Sewa II PS Mashka conducted a day-long training programme for its Contractual employees. Four training sessions covering various important topics such as Payments & Wages, Employees Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance & employee-employer relationships were organised during the programme. A veteran employee's trainer from Corporate Office, Faridabad, Sh. Manoranjan Behera, Manager (Human Resources) was deputed to impart series of lectures in the Ravi and Sewa Basin projects. NHPC has planned a unique concept of organising training cum awareness programmes for its contractual employees working in different Projects & Power Stations. In the coming days, training programmes are planned to be conducted in the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh & Uttrakhand. For majority of Contract employees it was their first ever experience of corporate training and they were extremely happy to be made part of the awareness sessions w.r.t. their rights and duties. |
