Early Times Report POONCH, July 2: Main road from dak bungalow chowk to Poonch fort, which is the main artery of the town, has been encroached by Taxi and Autorickshaw drivers to the huge inconvenience to public but silence of administration shows that it has failed on all aspect in tackling the issue. People who happen to pass by this main road are struck in messy jamming caused by illegally and carelessly parked autorickshaws and taxis and they are weary of indifference of the administration which has shut its eyes to the menace. "Our city has become a jungle because our officers mostly remain busy in sticking to chairs least bothering about public sufferings", said Roshan lal, a resident. Similarly, many people questioned administration's silence and said, "What officers are actually doing by sitting on chairs. If they cannot solve public grievances then they should leave Poonch". Locals said that if this is the condition of Poonch town, then what can be expected of administration in other parts of Poonch district. They appealed the administration to immediate sort out this matter and move all autorichshaws and sumo cars from main road to give some reprieve to the commuters. |
