| NCC cadets initiate cleanliness drive in village Jaswan | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 2: In order to motivate the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets to inculcate national feelings and to be familiar with the strength of our defence organizations, the Infantry Wing of NCC cadets of the Government MAM College were taken to village Jaswan Block Marh, Tehsil and District Jammu. NCC Cadets along with ANO Associate NCC Officer Captain Dr Karan Singh participated in the event under Swachh Bharat Summer Internship for cleanliness drive at village Jaswan.
Sukhbir Singh Assla, the commanding Officer of 2 J&K Boys Bn while speaking on the occasion appreciated the NCC cadets. He also appreciated the support given by the villagers especially the village Sarpanch Narender Singh. He emphasized that the people should use washroom and should avoid open defecation. Principal of the College Dr Romesh Chander admired the efforts of the Associate NCC Officer and the NCC cadets of the College and encouraged the cadets for taking up initiatives forsuch programmes. |
