Kathua, July 17: On the second day of the free five days Basic Shooting Course, at the KPS Shooting Club, the participants were imparted basic shooting skills by the national shooting coach, Sandeep Singh. The KPS Shooting Club has organized the free five day basic shooting course, which started on 16th July, 2018 and it will continue till 20.07.2018. On the second day of the course, more than fifty students from DAV Collegiate School and JK Public School participated in the training. The KPS Shooting Range boasts of the state of art infrastructure and facilities. It has the latest air rifles and pistols with a range of ten metres. Shooting enthusiasists from Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts joined the course under the guidance of Mr. Sandeep Singh, national coach of the Indian Shooting Team, assisted by Mr. Vishal Sharma. Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman, Er. Nirmaljit Singh said that KPS Shooting Range offers the best facility for aspiring shooting shooters who wish to compete at the state, national and international levels. He said that the Free Basic Shooting Course is run from 16th July, 2018 to 20.07.2018 and all boys and girls can avail themselves of the opportunity. The KPS Shooting Club is affiliated to the J&K Rifle Association. The Club hopes to host district and state level competitions in near future. |
