Jammu, July 17: A tree plantation drive was conducted by the NCC Cadets of 2 J&K Boys Bn Jammu of the Govt. MAM PG College in collaboration with the Forest Department of J&K State. During the drive, plants were planted by Col Sukhbir Singh Assla, Commanding Officer of 2 J&K Boys Bn NCC Jammu, Sameer Bharti, IFS Chief Conservative Jammu, Anup Soni, IFS, DFO Urban Forestry Jammu, SS Bijral former DGP, Dr. Romesh Chander, Principal of the college, Capt. Dr. Karan Singh, Associate NCC Officer of the college. The senior faculty members who were present on the event included Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Rakesh Koul Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Subash Chander, Dr. Vishal Sharma, Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director and others. A total of 300 plants were planted under SBSI 2018.
