Sodhi holds meeting with intellectuals, civil society

Jammu, July 17: S. S. Sodhi Chairman, J&KICS, New Delhi held a meeting with intellectuals, Educationists and all the members of the civil society and discussed the idea of joining value based politics by educated younger generation, mainly for the purpose of serving the nation and not like the present politicians who fight for power and are after money, property and materiel needs.
The younger generation having ideals like truthfulness, welfare of the people, faithfulness and opposing individual benefits should join politics to serve the general public.
The chairman also stated that there is strong need to end dirty politics and work for the people whole heartedly which can only achieve the democratic aims, human welfare and other desired results. He also stated that India needs young, Honest and positive educated youths to play active role at all levels i.e villages, panchayats, towns, cities and national level for the betterment and welfare of the people.
Sodhi further stated that India is growing very fast and our 45% population is youth. If some of them having ideals of serving the nation, join politics and do justice for the needy and deprived class of the society, our country will flourish on social, economical and developmental front. He also stated that our youth should respect the country and love the country. The intellectuals, educationists and all the members of the civil society thanked the chairman for preaching to the young generation for joining the politics with the ideals of serving the nation and helping the needy and deprived class of society whole heartedly, in order to solve their problems and take all necessary steps for the development of the country, particularly on social, economical and developmental front.
