| ARTO suspends permits of two vehicles | | |

Rajouri, July 17: Besides initiating challan against several vehicles, a team of Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) lead by inspectors Rajeev Bhasin and Aslam Parvez have suspended the permits of two passenger vehicles for grave violation of traffic norms.
The vehicles faced suspension of permits includes bearing registration Nos.JK11A6687 (Canter) and JK11C-0347 (Magic Auto). After several complaints against owners of both the vehicles by the people of Budhal, the instructions for suspension of the permits were issued by theTransport Commissioner , J&K and Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri.
The action was taken against the vehicle under the supervision of Neeraj Sharma, ARTO, Rajouri and both the vehicles were intercepted by the team on Budhal-Sungri road.
Due to shortage of passenger vehicles on Rajouri-Budhal road and on internal parts in Budhal area, overloading is normal activity and the owners / drivers for their greed to money putting the lives of the people at high risk on these hilly roads. |
