Jammu, July 17: Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee J&K and District Working President Jammu rural Shashi Sharma along with members of block Congress Committee conducted tour of various villages in Bishnah Constituency and listened to the problems being faced by the residents of this area.
He addressed corner meetings at Villages Ratnal, Khairi, Sube Chak,Chak Keshav, Majua and Kothey Kajaian, the local apprised the congress leader regarding worst ever condition of electricity since independence in these villages and they hardly get only 1 hour electricity throughout the day which is very shameful act on part of PDD.
The road from Bishnah to Jhang is totally damaged, the villagers said, adding there is acute shortage of irrigation water in this working season.
Shashi urged the Chief Enginer PDD to immediately install a separate electric feeder for these villages otherwise Congress party will not remain a mute spectator.He also urged the authority concerned to increase the water in canals ,so as to reach the irrigation water upto tail ends |
