RMSA, SSA Teachers appeal Governor to address their demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 22: Teachers and Master engaged under RMSA and SSA have appealed Governor NN Vohra to address their long pending demands. According to press release, a meeting of teachers was held under the Amar Nath Thakur to discuss the issue of non implementation of 7th pay commission in their favour by adopting a discriminatory , unconstitutional approach. The participants in the meeting appealed the Governor to implement the 7th pay commission in toto in favour of RMSA and SSA teachers. Amar Nath Thakur said that in SRO there is no mention about the non implementation of 7th pay commission to a section of teachers of state working under RMSA and SSA. Therefore it is obligatory on the part of state Government to implement the 7th pay commission to all the government employees of J&K. Satish Dutt State President of JKGTF said that teachers donot want confrontation with the state govt regarding the non implementation of 7th Pay commission hoping that state administration council under N N vohra would consider the implementation of the 7th pay commission in their favour of SSA and RMSA teachers. Those present during the meeting were Surjit Singh Jasrotia, district president JKGTF Jagdish Sharma, krishan lal, Mukand Lal Sharma, S Harminder singh, Pawan Kumar, BB Sharma, Om Parkash , Rafiq Ahmed, Ram Paul, Rajeev Sharma, Vishal Malpotra, Balbir pal Singh, Santosh Kumar and others. |
