Jammu, July 22: Vice Chancellor of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) RK Shavan today inaugurated the plantation drive organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community at JDA Park, Mandir Morh Roopnagar Jammu.
VC JDA was chief guest on the occasion while Rattan Lal Gupta, President Ware House Traders Federation Jammu was the guest of honour. Father Mahender of Christian community and Moulana Nazir Ahmad Mushtaq missionary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were the special guests on the occasion. Besides members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, members of civil society, doctors, advocates and little angels also took part enthusiastically in this drive. R.K. Shavan and other dignitaries appreciated the thoughtful efforts of the community which is always at the forefront for the public cause.
The community members appealed the civil society of Jammu to plant more and more trees for a clean and pollution free Jammu as it is wisely said " Planting a trees is the biggest charity". The prominent among those who were present on the occasion include Dr. Daniyal Ahmad, Dr. Fareed Ahmed, Adv. Ausaf Ahmad Khan, Mubashir Ahmed Mundashi, Arsalan Ahmed, Abdul Qadir, Vivek Sharma, Satyam Gupta, Nasir Iqbal Kagazgar and Gohar Hafeez Fani. |
