| Govt apathy forces Manpa villagers to repair road | | |  Arun Jasrotia

Udhampur, July: The Manpa villagers have st an example. Without waiting for government, the villagers repaired the road on their own. The road was lacktopped sixteen Years ago. A number of potholes forced people to take alternate routes.
The matter was brought to the notice of the authorities repeatedly without results.
Said Bansi lal, a local said that the villagers were left with no option but to repair the road themselves.
He said that all villagers including denior citizens as well as kids repaired the road to expressed their anguish over the negligence of the district administration and the department concerned .
Bansi lal added that 1000 Population of village is directly or indirectly dependent on said road but due to the condition of road they are worst suffers. |
