KAS-2016 candidates meet Rana | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 31: A delegation of the KAS Mains 2016 candidates on Tuesday called on National Conference Provincial President and MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana and protested against the decision of the Public Service Commission to hold the reexamination paper of Zology paper, saying this is against the principle of equability, as these candidates may get extra-edge over other candidates. The delegation said that the justification of the Public Service Commission that the reexamination has been necessitated due to mass copying early this month is wrong, as the Zology candidates had staged protests against the question paper allegedly being 50 per cent out of syllabus. However, the candidates were later permitted to sit for the examination by allowing 20 minutes extra time, which can be substantiated by the CCTV footage also, they said. They demanded fair-play and objected to reexamination of Zoology paper, which they alleged will give edge to the concerned candidates. The delegation also submitted a memorandum to Mr Devender Singh Rana. The Provincial President assured the delegation that their memorandum will be taken up at the appropriate forum. |
