Grameen Bank organizes training programme on Agri finance

Jammu, July 31: College of Agriculture Banking (CAB), Reserve Bank of India, Pune conducted on-location training programme for the officers of Regional Rural Bank'sacross all zones of the country.
CAB, RBI Pune this year had selected "J&K Grameen Bank" amongst RRBs of north zone to conductaforementioned five days training programme w.e.f 30th July, 2018 to August July 30, 2018. The programme was inaugurated by Romesh Vaid, General Manager, J&K Grameen Bank in the presence of faculty members Pankaj Setiya, DGM, RBI and E R Muthuselvan, AGM, both from CAB , RBI Pune. In the inaugural session of the training programme RomeshVaid, General Manager (Guest of Honour) spoke in detail on the H R Challenges and strategies, Business Development & profit Planning in JKGB and its role in growth, development and upliftment of Rural Agriculture Economy of the state of J&K. Setiya, DGM RBI also spoke ininaugural session, emphasizing the importance and role of such type of training Program in assessing the skills and aptitude of the officers, undertaking the training programme and enriching the participants with the knowledge of techno economic and financial appraisals skills of projects in farm and non-farm sector and also imparting knowledge of regulatory, legal and market risk related to such financing.
