| Gunfight between security forces and militants starts at Arwani Bijbehara | | |

Anantnag, Oct 25: An encounter between security forces and militants started in Arwani area of Bijbehara this afternoon.
Police said that an exchange of fire between militants and security forces have taken place in Kharpora Arwani area of South Kashmir's Anantnag.
As per reports, joint forces of Army, SOG Anantnag and CRPF have launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area this afternoon. During the search operation, exchange of fire took place between forces and militants, they said.
According to sources, 2 to 3 militants have been trapped in the area.
Clashes between security forces and youth have also started near the encounter site.
