| IMS Organized visit to Manda Zoo | | |

Jammu, Oct 29: The Institute of management Sciences (IMS) organized one day trip to Manda Zoo for the students of BCA-1st Semester, session 2018-19 to acquaint the students with the Wild life habitation, which forms a part of curricula of Environmental Studies.
A Zoo's paramount purpose is to promote wildlife in its natural environment. The students were familiarized with exotic and endangered animals. The visit provided an opportunity to the students not only to observe the animals but also study their respective behavior pattern. The students were made to understand the importance of taking care of the environment as it has a significant impact on the lives and welfare of animals. The students were very excited to be a part of nature during visit to the zoo. The visit would help them in preparation of their respective assignments. Sheetal Sharma, Bindu Koul and Meenakshi Bhat, Assistant Professors accompanied the students during the visit to the zoo. |
