JAMMU, Oct 29: Startling revelations made by Governor Satya Pal Malik has exposed real faces of BJP leaders who were ministers in the previous PDP-BJP government. The new Governor, who was hailed as 'Apna Banda' by BJP state president Ravinder Raina on his appointment, has started exposing former BJP ministers who had shamelessly sold Jammu's interest to protect their own personal interests.
First exposing 100 crore commission taken in sanctioning a dam project in Jammu region, the Governor has now exposed recruitment scam in which deserving and meritorious youth of Jammu region were neglected to accommodate political workers of the ruling parties.
Last week, Governor Satya Pal Malik had exposed that commission worth Rs 100 crore was charged to enhance price of the hydro-electric project by 35 percent. Although Governor had told that some officers involved in the scam have been singled out but real question is "Who were the political bosses?". It is widely alleged that Rs 100 crore commission was charged with the active involvement of politicians and price of the dam was enhanced by 35 percent with taking political bosses into confidence.
In two-month period after his appointment has Governor of J&K, Satya Pal Malik has established that he is not Apna Adami of anybody but he is Adami of the Awaam to expose misdeeds and corrupt practices of the previous PDP-BJP government which had created history of nepotism and corruption. |
