JAMMU, Jan 30: Inter House Science Quiz competition was organized by J.P World School Jammu for the junior classes 1 to 4th.
This competition provided a unique and exciting platform for school students to encourage their thinking skills in scientific concepts. Aditi and Shivani Aggarwal conducted the quiz. The quiz began with the introduction of the participants and rules of the inter- house quiz competition.
There were three rounds. First round comprises question answer round. In second round, participants in each team were shown pictures of famous places and personalities which they had to recognize and name correctly. Last round was quick fire round. The participants were divided into four teams namely Mesophere, Troposphere, Stratosphere and Thermosphere. In category 1, the students of Ravi House and Chenab House Viraj, Saranya, Affan, Shifa, Yashvardhan, Rehan Bukhari, Adhayan, and Adnan lifted the trophy. Whereas in category 2 the students of Jhelum and Tawi House Ashvin, Hridyaveer, Drishti, Abhigyan, Asim, Avleen, Vansh Anshika clinched the trophy.
Winners were facilitated with prizes by junior coordinator Ranju Jasrotia. She praised the participants and stressed upon the participation of all the students in such kind of competitions. |
