| JKFEAED employees go on two day strike | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 30: J&K Field Employees Association of Electronic Department staged demonstration today at Jammu in a two day call given over the pending demand by the government of Jammu and Kashmir. JKFEAED in a single voice stated to protest on 30 and 31 January to protect their rights.
JKFEAED in a single voice demanded removal of pay anomalies of Election Naib Tehsildars, Election Assistant Jr. Scale and Sr. Scale at par with the Naib Tehsildar, Giradwar and Patwari of Revenue Department; create post of Tehsildar election at district level as existing in other states.
Further revoke down grading of sanctioned posts of election assistant senior scale, the post of Assistant CEO should be filled from the field as per past and not on deputation bases, conduct DPC to fill posts of Election Assistant SR. Scale, consider 50% department quota for promotion of Dy. DEO's and regulate office timing from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and stop forcing to over time on Sundays and holidays.
J&K Field Employees Association of Electronic Department have send memorandum in this regard to governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Further, the employees requested the government to have consideration on the said matter and make necessary intervention at earliest period. |
