| People stage protest over the shifting of college at Ramgarh | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Mar 4: The people of Ramgarh stage strong protest demonstration against the government over the shifting of Newly Degree College to other place at Ramgarh in District Samba here today.
According to the report, a large number of people of Ramgarh assembled at Ramgarh, they raised slogan and shouting against the government, they alleged that the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Mal Malik sanctioned the degree college in Ramgarh but two days ago the principal secretary of the higher education along with DC Samba laid the foundation stone at village Rara instead of Ramgarh, due to this the people of Ramgarh turn into rage. They alleged that the foundation stone of the Degree College also laid in Ramgarh for two times by the successive government but the officer of the higher authorities by our sweet will laid the foundation stone of Degree College. They demanding to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to made the college in Ramgarh so the students get proper benefits of the said college.
The president of the Municipal committee Ramgarh Parmjit Singh Pamma appealed to the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik the newly sanctioned of degree college made in Ramgarh so the students of Ramgarh and its adjoining villages did not face any problems.
They warned if the government did not change any decision but within days the people of Ramgarh will come on road and string protest against the government. |
