| Transformer burnt: Lower Salwah village turns into darkness | | | Mendhar, Mar 19: With the burning of transformer in lower Salwah Village of Sub Division Mendhar the residents are without electricity for many days.
People of the area who are facing difficulties these days, told Early Times when their children are taking final examinations the concerned department has turned deaf year over the miseries of the people. "We have repeatedly brought the matter into the notice of officials, but to no avail", they said.
Social Worker Haseeb ul Rehman said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads etc. They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue suitable instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar for immediately replacement of damaged electric transformer in the area. |
