| Two accused of assault case arrested | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Mar 19: Two accused persons wanted in a case of assault on an officer of Education Department have been arrested by police in Rajouri district.
Principal of Government Higher Secondary School in Thanamandi was assaulted on road two days ago near Behrote village due to which he sustained injuries and was hospitalized. Taking note on the basis of complaint submitted by the victim, a case 14/2019 under sections 307, 323, 341 RPCs was registered in police station Thanamandi.
In order to nab the assailants, team of police headed by SHO Thanamandi Javed A Malik under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi Mohammad Sidiq raided at multiple locations and succeeded in arrest of two accused identified as Ourangzaib son of Mohammad Sarwar and Mohammad Saqib son of Nazar Hussain residents of Behrote village of Thanamandi. Further investigation into the matter was going on. |
