| NTUF protests over delayed policies of Government | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 19: Jammu and Kashmir National Trade Union Front (NTUF) protested today outside the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu against delaying policies of state government regarding casual labours.
One of the employees said that the government has delayed policies against casual labourers, Anganwari workers', helpers, Asha workers contractual workers, Adhocas and other temporary workers, who are suffering badly because of delay in due wages for past many years and months. A large numbers of workers from various departments participated in the protest demonstration.
While addressing the protesting workers Mohammad Gafoor Dar State President J&K National Trade Union Front and Rajinder Kumar Vice President condemned the delaying policies of government and urged upon the authorities for immediate settlement of demands.
Mohammad Gafoor made demands which included implementation of SRO 520 regarding regularization of casual labours and release of their pending wages, implementation of SRO 380 in PDD Department, regularization of Vocational Instructors of ITI's & Adhoc, contractual employees of other departments and enhancement of their salary.
Also release of pending wages of Anganwadi workers and helpers including ASHA workers and their promotion without further delay and immediate release of salary of employees who performed election duties without. |
