Jammu, Mar 19: Renowned Dogri Litterateur Dr. Rattan Basotra was awarded with the Vidhyasagar Upadhi (Honourary D. Lit.) by the Vikramshilla Hindi Vidhya Peet, Bhagalpur (Bihar) for his outstanding contribution in the field of language and literature. There are so many awards and honours in his credit. He is presently working as Incharge chief editor in the dictionary section of Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art culture and languages, Jammu. He is associated with the many literary and cultural organizations of state as well as of national level. |
