| 'Run for Democracy' organized at Poonch to spread voters awareness | | General Elections-2019 | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Apr 9: A special mini-marathon 'Run for Democracy' was organized today by the district administration here under the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign to spread awareness among the people to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
The mini-marathon started from DC office Chowk witnessing participation of District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav, Officers of civil and Police administration and students of different schools and educational institutions.
Earlier, the DDC urged the students to spread awareness among all the eligible voters in their family and neighbourhood about importance casting vote in strengthening democracy. |
