| Cong, NC, PDP befooling people for vote bank politics: Sham Lal | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 9: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its election campaign in Jammu- Poonch Lok Sabha (LS) segment.
Addressing series of meetings at Sunderbani, Rajouri and Poonch(Chandak, Muradpur,Talla Tanda and Devak) former minister and BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma asked people to give one more term to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and this can only be possible if Jugal Kishore Sharma is re-elected from Jammu Poonch LS constituency.
He justified Narendra Modi's leadership and said only Modi would be able to keep the country strong and fight against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. He claimed that only Narendra Modi can give a befitting reply to Pakistan and its sponsored terrorism.
Sham also took former Chief Ministers, Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah to task for playing politics ignoring the sentiments of the people of State in general and Jammu region in particular. He said politics were more important to these former chief ministers than the sentiments and welfare of the people of State. This can be witnessed from the so called "strategic alliance" on the seats of Jammu region only.
He said that the Congress is befooling the innocent people on the name of vote bank. The party has given only corruption, deceived and cheated the people of the country by hollow slogans, was responsible for poverty, and dividing the people on communal lines just for sake of power.
He said the manifesto of Congress is bundle of lies and dangerous for nation . He said that BJP Government has vision of development and under the leadership of PM Modi, the Government showed courage to takes bold decision in favour of common man.
On this occasion Congress leader and Retd ADC Subash Chander Sharma joined the BJP. |
