| 250 gm Heroin recovered, drug peddler arrested | | |
Ramban, June 3: A police party led by SHO Banihal inspector Ajaz Ahmed under supervision of SDPO Banihal DYSP Sajad Sarwar KPS recovered 250 grams of Heroine(chitta) from the possession of suspected person.
During checking one suspected person on seeing the police party started fleeing from the spot but the alert cops apprehended him after a brief chase. On thorough search of the suspected person recovered 250 grams of Heroine(chitta) from the possession of suspected person.
On questioning the accused person disclosed his identity as Irshad Ahmed son of Ahmedullah resident of Kawna Khari, District Ramban and has been taken into custody.
In this regard case FIR NO 73/19 U/S 8/21/22 of NDPS act stands registered against the accused person at Police Station Banihal & investigation has been geared up to ascertain the source & other persons involved in the crime. |
