| 5 bovines rescued, persons arrested | | |

POONCH, June 3: Police foiled bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 5 bovine animals and two persons arrested in this case. Police party of PS Surankote laid a Naka at Mirza Morh and during checking, one vehicle bearing number JK12A-2098 came from Poonch which was on its way towards Kashmir was stopped for checking. During checking, five bovines were found loaded in the vehicle.
Both the persons namely Waseem Khan Son of Sadiq Khan resident of Bufliaz and Mushtaq Ahmed son of Sanah Ullah resident of Bhonikhet failed to produce any legal permission and were arrested and vehicle was seized. On this case FIR No.127/2018 was registered. |
