6 persons taken into preventive custody | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, June 3: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday took into preventive custody six persons for their involvement in unlawful activities including peddling of narcotics. These six persons include four from Thanamandi and two from Rajouri. In Thanamandi, four persons found involved in unlawful activities include Shahzad Ahmed son of Mohammad Aslam resident of Darhal, Touseef Ahmed son of Mohammad Zaman resident of Dodasan Bala, Mohammad Tahir son of Abdul Slaam resident of Behrote and Shabaz Ahmed son of Mohanmad Aslam resident of Darhal. All have been booked under sections 107/110/151 CrPC and lodged in district jail Rajouri on the detention orders of the executive magistrate first class Thanamandi. A Tata Sumo JK11A-8886 and without registration number and a Tiago Car has also been seized from their possession. Meanwhile, two persons from the Rajouri police station area have been taken into preventive custody for their involvement in unlawful activities. They include Mohammad Rafiq son of Kala Khan resident of Kheora and Mushtaq Ali son of Mohammad Rafiq resident of Kheora. Duo have been detained as a preventive measure under sections 107/151 CrPC and were produced before Executive magistrate Ist class Rajouri. |
