| People rue dilapidated condition of Satrari to Majalta road | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 3: A vital link between several villages like Satrari, Kathail and other hamlets, about 2 km long Manwal-Satrari road is in dilapidated condition due to which a large number of people are facing problems.
Rakesh, a local of Satrari informed that due to the bad condition of this road, passenger vehicles of this area are developing one or the other mechanical fault. The commuters avoid traveling on this road resulting due to which the students reach their schools late while hundreds of people are forced to cover the distance on foot.
Several other locals told Early Times that they brought up the matter into the notice of concerned authorities but nothing has been done so far.
The affected people have appealed to Governor and District Development Commissioner Udhampur to look into the matter and issue instructions to the department for the completion of Satrari road. |
