| Poonch people deprived of drinking water during Ramdhan | | |

Poonch, June 3: Despite assurances from authorities of PHE department, Poonch people are deprived of potable water for long. People of ward number 1 and ward number 3 of Poonch town have accused Public Health Engineering Department of depriving them of drinking water. Locals informed early times that there is no water being supplied during the holy month of Ramdhan. They said, "even they have approached to higher authorities many a times, but no one in Poonch is available to listen to their problems". They have appealed to Governor Satya Pal Malik to look into the matter and provide proper water supply to consumers. They have threatened protests if action was not taken immediately. |
