AKHNOOR, June 3: An impressive Hawan Yagya was performed on the occasion of Shani Jayanti with full religious fervour and gaiety.
A large number of devotees participated in the Shani Dham Jourian.
Speaking on the occasion, Suraj Chaitanaya Maharaj said that Shani's gravitational power is more than that of the Earth's. Therefore, when we think good or bad thoughts and make plans, they reach Shani by the strength of his power.
The Shani Dev Seva Smiti, Jourian distributed cold drinks and eatables to devotees during the Hawan Yagya.
